I've read several places that these suits are warmer than an average 3mm. Is it too much for 84-85 degree water? I've only ever dove a crappy 3mm shorty in the Caribbean and I'm usually just starting to chill at 60 minutes at 80 degrees.

They are definitely warm. I spent 3 hours in an 80 degree pool yesterday and didn't get chilled at all.

Just got my 3mm and will be taking it to Bonaire for it's initial test out, will report back.

I initially ordered and XL and had to exchange it for a L. The fit on the L is spot on and on land at least it feels like a great suit.
