    Hi @cerich and @LandonL

Last I heard this was going to be a relatively simple, inexpensive computer running Buhlmannn ZH-L16C with a few preset GFs. Of course, even this thread is approaching 2 years old now

    Good diving, Craig

Well, this is wise-ass answer and it isn't what I am asking. At the start, many, many blue-moons ago, you were advertising a recreational single gas computer with several levels of conservatism adjustments and you also stated way back that a "technical" version with multi-gas capability will follow. It is also understood that a multi-gas/technical version will cost a great deal more than the recreation single gas version. If the recreational version was supposed to cost only around $139, the technical version will certainly be a lot more. The price is an important factor for the entry level recreational diver who doesn't need to pay for the features a technical dive computer will have. If your multi-gas computer is going to cost the same price as advertised before, then perhaps it is OK as along as there is a "technical/Recreational" mode choice to simplify the settings for the average recreational diver who won't understand the implications of technical diving choices/parameters in the computer. So, what are you anticipating to release soon? Did the plan we heard a while back change and there is a new product line instead of what we were led to believe at the beginning way back?

P.S. I am not trying to find fault with what you are saying, except your unnecessary wise-ass comeback above, but trying to understand your plans and how they are different from the beginning of this adventure. I was holding out buying recreational dive computers for my training/rental program waiting for your recreational dive computer to come out with the features and price you advertised then.

Why do you anticipate a large difference in cost between the two? What would cause the additional expense, beyond some additional programming for the microprocessor used?

Wow, an 8 gas, trimix computer, running Buhlmann ZH-L16C with GF, for $139! That makes the $400 I paid for my Nitek Q look absolutely outrageous. I'll believe it when I see it

    Because of this:
and possibly more in the hardware side, potential liability issues and insurance, etc. The dive computer market we live in clearly shows that as the dive computer gains more features, it commands more price.

I never "advertised" anything, we did show and talk about a unit that we were working on, that ended up not being worthwhile for a variety of reasons. We've gone another direction

Well, there seems to be 20m of wasted time. All I see on your FB pics are people wearing what looks like shearwaters and a orange banded dive watch.

So, I probably won't waste any more time thinking about this.

I believe that you did have one on your website with price of $139 :)

That's what I needed to know, thanks. I suppose that the $139 price is no longer applicable?
