[Sorry, just noticed that I didn't specify that this was a TG-5 in the post title]

I want to be able to switch between my two custom modes quickly, but the "mode info" screen stays up for three bloody seconds.

There's got to be a way to disable this... right? thumbnail.jpeg

Does it go away with a half press of the shutter or taking a shot?

It does, but the problem is when I go to "microscope mode" I have to then choose which microscope mode I want to shoot in. Which requires another 2 seconds!
