I'm looking for somebody that can help get our Davey working correctly again. I believe that an untrained operator either fried the 4th stage output valve, or possibly the piston itself by letting it run at full pressure against a closed head for well over an hour.

Any shop in a 300 mile radius of Nashville would be great.

Thanks.

Steve

Bargain Marge / Protecair is just about the only place with parts. Give them a call and see if they can set you up. Bargainmarge (361) 937-3396

Might try Pressure Solutions in Tuttle, Ok. They work on all types of industrial/oil field/Scuba high pressure compressors. 405-381-4733. A little farther than you wanted, 700 miles, but might be worth a call. Good luck, Jay

Looks like I found the problem, I'm 99% certain that it's a blown head gasket on the 4th stage. That would perfectly account for the reading I'm getting, and I can feel (and have confirmed by spraying water) a very strong blast of air coming from that exact area. It's not a fitting, so a new head gasket has been ordered and hopefully that will get our "Back Up Baby" back running again.

Thanks Again,

Steve
