I stumbled across this on Scubatoy's website http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?product_id=SoftKnifeWrap I've been thinking about giving it a shot, since I find my rubber knife straps are either too loose and the knife spins, or too tight and it get's uncomfortable. Has anyone come across anything else similar to this?

I am in need of some straps for my knife (buckles, velcro?). Have you ordered this or learned anything more about it?

I never had a problem with the rubber straps when on my leg.

Since I moved my knife to my waist band, I haven't needed rubber straps, and my waist band does not compress with depth.

Unless you are a hunter or have a specific need, you may find a smaller knife does the job.

I used one with the same design, just different brand, when diving in HI and it was very comfortable on bare skin and did not move around. Have not had much need for it since moving to the midwest and diving DS.

I stumbled across this on Scubatoy's website X-Scuba Neoprene Knife Wrap , Dive Knives, XS Scuba, X-Scuba Neoprene Knife Wrap I've been thinking about giving it a shot, since I find my rubber knife straps are either too loose and the knife spins, or too tight and it get's uncomfortable. Now that is what I have been looking for. Nice find. I've had the same issues as you with the knife spinning around, not fitting well at is top end, wobble, etc.
