Is it normal that a APEX ATX-50 pass a little water when one is vertically inverted in the water ?( head down, feet up )

2nd stages were tuned in April and seats changed, but it happen before this and after it as well.
 
yes, most all second stages will do that because the exhaust valve is under positive pressure from the air in the second stage so it will leak a little. completely normal

Thanks, I was under the wrong impression that it shall not allow any water pressure regardless of regulator position in the water as it see differential pressure.
 
@Remy B. sadly not. The exhaust valve is free on the edges unlike the inhalation valve so while it can take negative pressure without leaking *what it sees when you inhale*, when there is any positive pressure *if the diaphragm is "up"* then it will allow a bit of water to come in during the exhalation cycle. All regulators are prone to it however some are more sensitive to it than others. Apeks are usually pretty good
