I currently have and love my Apeks flight regulators but am new to UK diving and have a couple of questions...can I use the flight when surface temp is 12 degrees? I guess it's too cold for it at rec depths? If that's the case can I put a cold water first stage on it (such as Apeks DST or Scubapro mk17) to give a setup which would work in the UK? I know it's not one of Apeks' trialled combinations but is that a drama? I know lots of people who mix first and second stages with no problems, just wondering if anyone has any advice on this combination!
Thanks :)
