Funny... I always thought of Aqualung as a French company.
Youre not wrong for some very obvious reasons. Might be less to do with "American " than just a "brand we already use based in a location we are neighbors with". It was loosely explained to me at bts 2 years ago.
 
Looks the same to me. They work great though. I've been diving in 3kt of frazzle ice and lived with my regular mtx-r 's

Added a cracking effort and Venturi to this one. WOB is quite nice with lower preload.

No, it did not.
They fixed the problem in XL4 second stage with a locking tab on the barrel and case body. There is no way MTX can fix this problem as long as it still using the same spindle design as the XTX.
