Hello,

I buy my first scuba gear and watch the two adjustable:

- Apeks XTX50/ octopus XTX40 or
- ScubaPro MK25/G260+R195

Which regulator you recommend and why?

And also i buy Buoyancy compensators?

I look for:

- Scubapro Go
- Scubapro X-One
- Cressi Ultralight

Which do you recommend?

Please for help :)

Are you in Europe?

I think Apeks will be a good deal for you. Apeks is cheaper over there.

Both are good regs though.

I'd go Apeks, being in the EU (?) I'd imagine you can get them cheaper than SP, easier to service and get parts for. No special tools required other than a non special C spanner and a 3/4" ring spanner (wrench).

Buy Apeks before BREXIT!!

Have been the same DS4 + TX50 for rec and tec dive for over 18yrs.
6C in Scap Flow without any issue on two trips I had made.

Scubapro litehawk is back inflation minimalist, light weight and none quick-release integrated weight system, only normal weight pouches

Thank you all for your answers! It helped me a lot by the decision

I also think it is a better choice Apeks :)

I have an XTX50 (both) + DST+5th port. I like the hose routing that gives me, and price was very similar to the Scubapro. The local shops service both, but Apeks had a deal going for the setup with miflex hoses (and the regs are 100% identical except for the yellow cover on the octo).
