Apparently the #1 rule of diving ....

    The same methods was used for Into the Blue, except that the actors became pretty accomplished free divers by the time they were filming and could hold their breath for a heck of a lot longer than 15 seconds. In an interview I read, they said that they were well aware of the danger, and each sequence was filmed at one depth.

    BTW: I'd always heard that not holding your breath was the #2 rule of diving. The #1 rule is "DON'T INHALE WATER."
