is the no fly time or desat time greater than 0? the older PPS computers without color screens (which the i550 looks to be) are supposed to stay on until those go away. if it still shows the dive still occurring, it either is the sensor is still active (in which case try a fresh water soak and dry) or malfunctioning (if the depth is still showing and the dive time still running)

I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread. I've been looking into purchasing a new dive computer and seriously considering the Aqua Lung i550C. Now I'm not so sure.

No. The no-fly time expires 24 hours after the last dive. It's now been 60 hours since my last dive. My de-sat time after my last dive was was only 10 hours. So, there's no reason why the computer should still be on 60 hours after my last dive. My last dive was in freshwater; nevertheless I always do a freshwater rinse/soak after every dive. And no, the depth & dive time are not still showing on the computer.

Honestly, any computer is going to malfunction at times. If anything, I've heard less bad things about Aqualung computers than others. I have the i550 and love it. Large display, easy to use, and well-supported by Subsurface.
