Is it possible to convert a legend acd to just a yoke and a conical filter? Can the acd be removed? Is putting a din conversion kit without acd the only option?

Yes, with standard AL parts, but not with "official blessing" of Aqualung, and there will be one minor adhoc solution to keep the dust cap from flopping around after the change. I will PM you.
