are blanking ports interchangable ?

Hi,
i'm using apeks DS4 1st stages as my backgas. Just wondeirng, are the blanking plugs (those metal plugs which we screwed into the 1st stage to plug the 1/2, 3/8 and 7/16") only specific to a brand/model ?

i can get a few extra generic blanking ports at a very good price as compared to the costs of the apeks blanking ports. The seller says it should not be a problem as it is just the diameter of the port in qus.(i'm not talking about swapping LP and HP plugs, just swapping the 7/16 ,3/8 etc plug from a xxx brand on another brand of 1st stages) But i thought i'd post the list here just to be make sure.

As long as they are the correct thread you can exchange "blanking plugs" which are more often called port plugs without difficulty.

Be sure to check the o-rings are not damaged when installing them.
