You're right. I don't crave " Doria", but would do it in anytime, when I'm ready. I love wreck diving, don't know why. Maybe see you on the boat.

Ya, you are right, Gary was certanily not the first diver to penetrate the Doria, although he may have been the first rec guy. I think he still is in the top 5 for most number of dives on the Doria.
Regardless, Gentile is one hell of a diver and certainly among the "best of the best" that helped paved the way for the modern tech diver.

did anyone ever find any information about maybe getting a copy of the cover art off of the deep descent book. one of you gave me a link to a web site (sorry i forgot who it was) that has a lot of prints of the doria but they were just a bit out of my price range.
