I stayed at Tasik Ria Resort near Manado and had a great experience. Please, learn to speak a bit of Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia), just the basics will go a long way to help create a wonderful trip. Selamet tinggal!

I fully agree, Nord Sulawesi is a beautiful spot on earth with scenic landscape, terrific dive sites and very friendly and always smiling people! I stayed at Thalassa Dive Resort in Manado which is a great place with the best staff I have ever seen. Besides diving they also offer trips to the jungle and to the Highlands. Their slogan "where guests leave as friends" is definitely true and I will go back soon!
