Atami Dive Report from July 25

Three boat dives. Vis 10 meters and 18-20 degrees. Sunny and calm sea. IOW a beautiful day!

1) Chinsen. Penetration into bow (2 sections) and stern (upper deck w toilet). Marc's bumphead parrotfish still staying by the bow.

2) Sodaine. Deep exploration. Fantastic dive. Probably my best ever at this site. Nudis, crabs, spidercrabs, dragon moray eels...

3) Bitagane. Scooter exploration. Found the 2 tugboats at Bitagane, looking for the speedboat next to Chinsen without success. Next time! Bitagane with scooter is like another site. Huge halibut at the 1st tugboat.

Next diving Aug 14-15.

Thomas, I got water temp 21.7 degrees C at 30 meters on Saturday the 24th at Chinsen. Water temp. at the surface was 23 degrees C.
