I dove Kraken a handful of years ago when it was White Stone and enjoyed it. I'd like to go again this summer as it's been awhile. (I just read through the current rules and info and see I can still dive solo as a certified cave diver. I'll have to rent a 7mm farmer john though as I do remember it getting cooler as you descend!)
I almost always have my cave diving gear with me so I'll find a free day, contact the park and head up there.
(I'm in the ATL area annually off and on from May to November.)

Will the Kraken be there?

The Kraken is always there, always watching. She will always see you, but you may not see her...

Never dove prior to when the Dive Georgia team took it over, but from what I've heard it's far and away better than it used to be. They've worked hard and are always making improvements.

Hi @seagirl1990
Kraken Springs is the happening place in NWGA, and it pulls people from middle and even southern Georgia. They will be open 4/20, 4/21 and then open every weekend (Fri-Sun) starting 5/11 through the end of October. Friendly knowledgeable staff and nice facilities.
Several other great dive sites within a couple of hours drive. Check out the Georgia Dive Buddies FB page if you haven't already. There's always someone looking for a buddy.

Rollin Bonz, i absolutely intend on being at Kraken on 5/11! (I'm so excited!) And I am on that site, it just wasn't working for me! lol Thank you so much! :)

Thanks Chairman!

We’re diving Kraken this weekend but would love to meet scubaboard members in Oct at Ginnie.

Please keep us posted
