I have to go to a business meeting in Atlantic City on Monday August 13. The company is paying for my for my hotel on Sunday night. Originally I was going to drive down from CT early in the morning and spend the day doing what ever one does in AC. It occurred to me that rather than give my money to casinos, I could do a couple of dives instead.

Any recommendations on boats to check with? I realize this is short notice, so I am not going to be picky. I am okay with an insta-buddy, just looking for a couple dives

Rich -

If you are driving down - you will need to be early early early to catch a boat in the morning - there is one in the afternoon but these are not leaving out of AC...
If you are driving down you will pass these locations.

CRANFORD - Divers Two
I called Divers Two. I booked the afternoon single tank dive. It is a 70’ dive on the Cranston. I am just debating whether to use my new 5mm Thermoprene Henderson suit or dive dry. Any thoughts? I have switched over to the wetsuit for my current RI diving and I have a dive skin to go with hood and gloves. Any thoughts?

Dive Dry. Surface Temp last Sunday was 74 or 75 with rapid thermocline to 56 at 90. I saw someone in a 5mm suit and he had to ascend early - really uncomfortable.

Yeah, that’s the plan. I just loving the freedom of the wetsuit.
