.... interesting dives, good wrecks, stuff to see, things to do....

Read a little about off coast of NT, just wondering what the opinion is of such places or anywhere else of interest....

If youre in the area I rate Julian Rocks off Byron Bay - did my first 2 dive courses there. Great marine life & not too crowded with divers. Wobbegongs galore...

I've only diving twice in Aust, once at the GBR for a week or so on a Mike Ball boat, now that was a great way to dive, they thought of everything. the night diving was cool - big fish zipping past you hunting.

And the other place I tried was the Melbourne Aquarium, doing a shark dive. Very cold even in 7mm full suits with hoods and gloves.. I mean very cold... but it was really cool to see sharks that size up close. They were huge.

I gather that most aquariums allow diving (easy way to make some money I think)
