Suggestion Avatars

I was searching for information on Key West and Key Largo. What I got back was:

The search term you specified (Key) is under the minimum word length (4) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.


OK...how do I make this term longer??

Also. I used to have an avatar, it disappeared. I went to the edit avatar section but I can't figure out how to find one and put it back. I'm either getting senile or this board, although still full of the nicest people in the world, has sure gotten harder to navigate.

Using Largo should work nicely... the minimum has always been 4. Yes, we lost a bunch of smilies, but I was not aware of losing any avatars.

My guess would be that the software is trying to hold on to your old Avatar.

Try going into "UserCP" and then "Edit Avatar".
Click on "Do not use Avatar".
Save that.
Then go back in the same way and see if it will let you select one.

Several other users have had simular issues.
