Thanks everyone for your posts! I pulled the trigger on a hard wired NERD. I got a deal on the original NERD vs the NERD2. I got it all wired up (a bit of a pain to get everything packed into the can) but both computers are working and reading properly. I am going to try to get on a dive soon and test them both out.
