Advice, please. How many 20 amp 120 volt cirquits and how many duplex outlets might be required for overnight battery charging all of the dive lights and other battery powered gear for 4 typical cave divers staying in a rental unit? What are the safety concerns associated with their charging systems?

Light chargers are not a significant current draw 4 divers can have all of their lights recharging on a single 15amp circuit. You can put more than 2 on an outlet with a 3 way splitter or a 6 outlet power strip. In fact, bringing a 6 outlet power strip is a good idea, then you can set up a charging station and keep everything together.

Li-ion batteries "should" be put in a fire resistant bag, but most people don't as their really isn't much hazard for diving lights as compared to RC cars and other deeper discharged batteries. NiMH and SLA batteries have few safety concerns as long as they are cool and dry.
