I read somewhere that there is or used to be an adapter we could pick up for your unit. Is this true and if so where could I find one?

Hi Straegen,
Thanks for your post to ScubaBoard. Are you referring to our O2EII Nitrox Analyzer? The BC connector (flow restrictor) that Scared Silly refers to is most appropriate for our ATA Trimix Analyzer and our Portable O2 (formerly called the O2DII) as both of these analyzers provide for an in-line or closed gas sample.

The O2EII Nitrox analyzer is purpose designed to take the gas sample directly from the Y or DIN valve on your tank. This being said, if you REALLY want to supply gas from your low pressure inflator, you could, indeed employ the BCD flow restrictor and hold the other end of the hose to the center inlet of the green flow adapter dome of the O2EII. Under no circumstances should you supply gas to the O2EII without the green flow adaptor dome in place.

Happy and Safe Diving!
