anyone know what the beam angles are on the new variable light. Does it get wide enough to use as a video light?

Amy reviews or thoughts about this light?

I ended up purchasing it as I got a pretty good deal. For me, the variable focus doesn't do much. It doesn't get wide enough to use as a video light, as just a pure canister light, it is very nice though. The piezo switch on the light head works pretty well, but seems to be finicky for me at times in dry gloves. The light is a good bit brighter than my big blue tl3100 that it replaced. Beam angle when pulled in as tight as it will go works well cutting through the water. If I did it again, I probably wouldn't go for the variable focus.
