Making our first trip to Belize - Blackbird Caye Resort - first week of April. What should we expect in terms of water temperatures?
What are the current conditions?
Thanks.

80-85 depending on the weather and where you are actually diving.

28C is what my '15 November trip and computer told me

25C is what my '15 January trip and computer told me

25C is what my '14 Feb trip and computer told me

Prior trips, I didn't have the ability to check temperature ...

April is warming up. If I were doing three dives per day, I'd wear a full 3 mm. But I'm an old fart and I get cold easily. Coming from Michigan after winter….shorts and a T shirt would probably be ok for you. But seriously, if you're diving multiple dives per day, you'll get cold after the first day.

Water temp pretty consistently around 81F though can drop below that at depth. 3mm full suit unless you're superhuman. :)
