BigBlue overcharging battery pack?

I'd like to add that tonight I monitored my TL3500P Supreme charging. It charged to 4.29V. This is with the stock charger FY0423000.

The charging plug is also dodgy and needs to be jiggled every time I charge, in order to get the charging LED to switch to red.

Big Blue seems to have a new model of charger for this battery pack, but they didn't respond when I asked for my charger to be replaced under warranty. A new one is about $80++.

Hahah I was just about to buy VTLP3800. Any recommendation on alternatives?
