no, there's no scuba police. DO pull a flag though. Fish collecting is about the only thing really frowned upon (unless it's a lionfish). Sadly collecting is legal but it's really bad form.

Great, thank you for the reply. No problem I always carry a flag (as much as i hate it). I've been there with buddies a while back, but i couldn't remember if i ever saw any solo divers. I couldn't agree more about the collecting part.

Thanks man! I think I'll just stay local tomorrow.

Don’t Lake O discharges rarely effect Blue Heron? I can remember snorkeling last year and before when the locks were open and it didn’t effect the bridge to much IMO.

Although constant discharges for awhile will cause problems like last year when they closed Phil Foster and peanut island for a couple days.

Edit: Not advocating the discharges at all I for one would love to see an overflow aloud and for us to go back to how it use to be although that will never happen.

Was thinking of diving the bridge today. Can anyone comment on the viz from this past weekend?

This year, November, 24 2018 shows a high tide time of 8:53 PM (I am sure I can get a permit for a night dive), and we can enjoy the day together!
Oh, hell yeah!!!
