I spent a nice three hours by myself yesterday afternoon. I think temps are still in the (chilly) low 80's. Vis was ok at 10-15ft and then got real milky beyond that. I saw one spotted eagle ray in the milk, two southern rays, and a ton of flying gunards. They are real little silters, FYI!

There appeared to be a lot more moon jellies than I've seen in a long time. Not the infestation we had August of last year, but enough to take notice.

Also nice to see the crowds are thinning out. I was worried what with it being a holiday - but front row parking was available and I only ran into one other pair of divers underwater.

I would like to ask if someone that is going to Blue Heron Bridge would please go over earlier and get us a table area for all of us to be able to get together? Please I would so much appreciate it. I will be getting there as early as I can that morning. If you are able to get to go over and get us a spot, please would you let me know asap?
Don't forget your chairs as well all. Also just a friendly reminder to everyone there is no alcohol allowed at Blue Heron Bridge.
Please don't forget to bring a dish to pass around. I will be bring plates and silverware as well as some kind of dish.
I cannot wait to see you all my friends again and to see and make new friends.

divediva and joanner went yesterday, uw temp still good at 82-83F. They said they didn't expect much viz and it was worse!! 4 to 10 feet. They still saw a lot of critters however........The sun was out the whole time, but they said they could not see the surface. They could not tell when under the west bridge because it was dark all the time.

Well a week from today and I should be in Key Largo. I am sure pretty tired as well, since I will be driving straight through with a few stops of course for a gas, stretch or cat nap. But like I have said very excited. If someone needs to get a hold of me, please email me here and I will give you my cell phone number as soon as I can check my email.
The 19th will be a relaxation day and possible doing some lobster diving. We will be at Harry Harris Park Beach. It is at mile marker 92.5.
The dive charter, I have to be there by 12 noon. We still sail at 1pm. Please be there between 12:00 and 12:30 at the very latest. So they can get you signed in. It is a 4.5 hour charter. Lauderdale by the sea we will be leaving Key Largo around 9 am. to head up to LBTS.
Dive Party at Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach we are able to dive around 12:30 pm on Oct. 20th. There will be door prizes to be given away. We will have our picnic after diving. Please remember to bring a covered dish to pass around. Please if you would let me know what you might be bringing will help us to know what we may need to get. I will be bringing the plates and silverware. We need for someone to bring drinks as well.
I am so much looking forward to seeing you all. [IMG] Lets Pray that there is NO hurricanes any where around. lol.

pretty crappy today but doable. -8-10' vis, 81 degrees. a few moon jellies and alot of particulate. Tide switches fast in the top 4' from the freshwater runnoff. Go sailing

Good to know, I was trying to decide between going to the BHB or Ginnie Springs tomorrow.
I guess it's off to Ginnie Springs where the viz is 200'+ and to camp out and do a Galaxy Dive.

I could bring drinks....one of my past times is being the local distributor of "the healthiest Sports Drink" there is, called Hydrate. Taste is excellent, 3 flavors, and no sugar....4 grams of protein and 12 grams of slow burning carb per bottle.... I could bring several cases if you guys would like this.... I also have one of those huge event tents that shades from the sun, which could be brought as well.
    Let me know :)
