It has been a rough couple of weeks with all of the rains and Tropical storms, but blue water is here again. American Diving is enticing divers back to the Clipper this weekend with an offer to do a two tank dive to the Clipper on Sunday, August 1st for only $125 per diver. You must sign up by Friday to lock in the discounted price.

The viz was 80+ feet on Rig 1133, which is about 2 miles from where the Clipper lays. No sign of whalesharks near shore yet, but they have been seen 50 miles out. Hopefully they will be showing up soon on the near shore sights.

Thanks to all who came out and dived the Texas Clipper with us this weekend. Conditions were beautiful with 80 - 100 feet of viz, flat seas and water temps in the 80s. Check out the Capt's Log for photos from this weekend.

Based on the success of this weekend's trips we are going to again offer discounted dives to the Clipper....4 days in a row! August 10 - 13, two-tank dive trips to the Clipper will be $125. August and September offer some of the best diving in the Gulf of Mexico. Take advantage of the great conditions, small crowds and great pricing to come dive Texas' premier wreck with South Padre Island's only full service dive shop, since 1985.
