anyone know what boats if any allow solo diving in Key Largo/Pennekamp?
is there a park rule prohibiting solo diving?

i was paired up with a couple that were hardly of help to each other let alone me. the lady was on her first dive after OW and couldnt get down without her hubby pulling her down. she burned her tank down to 500 psi in 25 min.

when i complained to the captain he said i could pair up with the remaining divers but the bottom line was i had to return to the boat when they did.
i got the feeling that it was more of a formality to insist on buddy diving and he was just covering his a$s.

the funny thing is, i got pulled over heading down there doing 85 in a 65. the trooper nicely made a point that i was safer in the water than on the road because of people like me , and let me off with a warning :)
and yes, i drove down SOLO!!!
