Corpse found near Gozo diving spot
A body believed to be that of a diver was recovered from the sea off Xatt l-Aħmar in Gozo at 2pm.

The corpse, of a man who has not yet been identified, was lifted onto an AFM launch which took it to Mġarr harbour.

Xatt l-Aħmar is a popular diving spot in Gozo. No further information was immediately available.

Yesterday a Polish swimmer died after finding himself in difficulty while swimming in Golden Bay.
