Is truck included? If not, how do we get to the reefs?
Thanks

Frank,

As already pointed out, this trip does not include a truck, however one could be added if you are interested. Boat diving does have it's advantages. For example, one is able to dive the small island of Klein which this dive shop goes to frequently. Also with boat diving one doesn't need to carry the gear at dive sites like 1000 steps.

Accommodations and dive shops can vary greatly in Bonaire. I can tell you the Plaza is a very nice property that has earned a 4 star rating. The rooms are spacious with a sleeping area, living area with couch, and a private balcony. The dive shop, Toucan Diving, has earned, through PADI standards, a 5-star Gold Palm rating. They offer many continuing education classes including Adventures in Diving (advanced), Rescue Diver, and Divemaster. The also offer many speciality classes including wreck, deep, NITROX, navigation, and many others.

Thanks much for posting your web page. I enjoyed the photos and am glad you had a good time in Bonaire.

Hi folks!

I'll be taking a small group down there from the 6th to the 13th. Maybe we'll see some of you in passing...

Hi gangrel!

Depending on the air..maybe the group will see you as they are leaving on the 6th and you are coming. Unless you haven't bought your air yet..and want to combine your group with ours. :)

We still have 5 rooms left... who wants to go?

I put together some web pages for this trip. One of the pages shows the trip details similar to what Natasha listed at the top of this thread, but there are some links with additional information. This page can be found at:
http://home.comcast.net/~diveescorts/

The second page is a collection of pictures I put together from previous trips to the Plaza resort and this page can be found at: http://home.comcast.net/~diveescorts/Plaza/

This is going to be a great trip!

Great web site Dave. And as an added bonus..this is coral spawning week!

Thanks for pointing the coral spawn out to me Natasha. I found some information for the spawning times and posted a table at:
http://home.comcast.net/~diveescorts/spawn/

It is great that this spawn will occur in the middle of this dive trip! I have never seen a spawning event. People who have witnessed coral spawning must consider themselves very lucky. Seeing a coral spawning is probably a onece in a lifetime experience for most divers.

We currently have a single male diver. If anyone wants to go and needs a room mate, just sign up and we can try to pair people up.

Dave:
The single diver looking for a roomie can also start a thread in here saying he is looking for a buddy. It may be seen easier that way. :)
