What's the length between the large and long pattern. Guess I missed it on the web site.

Plate length is path of the puzzle, but it's not the whole story.

I'd recommend a Long Pattern Plate.
For reference most "one size fits all plates" are 15 1/2 ~15 3/4" tall.
Our Medium Plate is 15"
Our Large Plate is 16"
Our Long Pattern Plate is 17 1/2" tall, and the lower harnes slots were moved down 1/2 inch relative to the rest of the plate. The net result is the Long Pattern Plate puts the waist strap 2" lower than our Large plate and about 2 1/2" lower than it would be on most one size fits all plates.
