Dive Computer.jpg

A Brand new addition to the SUBGEAR line, XP-H is an air integrated version of the XP10 computer with several exciting new features. The XP-H is truly a complete resource for all levels of adventure. It displays all important dive and decompression data plus full dive data memory. This Air Integrated Console gives Digital Pressure Readings and the Air Function can be set to warn you of cylinder pressure turnaround times or low air. The Cylinder Pressure Reading will display cylinder pressure from 0 to 4350 psi (0 to 300 bars). New all round diving computer designed for divers who appreciate detailed, yet easily accessible information. The XP-H Computer is Nitrox Compatible from 21-50% with accuracy of 1% increments making it the perfect Nitrox Computer for Recreational Diving. The XP-H Computer uses the Adaptive Algorithm ZH-L8 ADT MB. This algorithm increases safety and maximizes bottom time by constantly adjusting the decompression plan during the dive when risk factors like cold water, fast ascents or the potential for formation of micro bubbles are detected.

Micro-Bubbles are tiny bubbles that can build up inside a diver's body during any dive and normally dissipate naturally during an ascent and on the surface after a dive. Dives within no-stop time and observance of decompression stops do not prevent the formation of micro-bubbles in the venous blood circulation. Dangerous micro-bubbles are those migrating into the arterial circulation. The reasons for the migration from the venous blood circulation to the arterial circulation can be a great many micro-bubbles collecting in the lungs. SUBGEAR has equipped XP-H dive computers with a new technology to protect from micro-bubbles. The diver chooses according to his/her needs an MB level and influences through it the level of protection from micro-bubbles. Diving with MB levels requires additional ascent stops (level stops), the ascent is slowed down and the body gets more time to desaturate. This works contrary to the formation of the micro-bubbles and increases safety. XP-H features 6 micro-bubble levels (L0-L5). Level L0 corresponds to SUBGEAR's well-known decompression model ZH-L8 ADT and does not require level stops due to micro-bubble formation. Levels L1 to L5 offer additional protection from micro-bubble formation with level L5 offering the highest protection.

The Computer is designed to inform the diver of important information while on a dive. Toggle through Essential Information during Dive Mode: Max Depth, Temperature, Time of Day; and Activate Backlight; entering any Surface Interval to Better Plan the Next Dive. If you are a diver who likes diving on Live-Aboard" Dive Boats and want to enjoy your trip rather than having to constantly download dives from your computer's memory, you're going to love the XP-H's 25 Hours of Profile Storage at 4-second Sampling Rate. The Computers Large Memory holds more than a week's worth of diving, high sampling rate preserves all details about the dives. Computer has a Safety Stop Timer which is user activated, it can be set between 1 and 5 minutes for optimal monitoring of your safety stop (default 3 minutes). The XP-H also allows Basic Choices of Adjustments without the need of a PC so you can custom set it on the fly. Computer can adjust ppO2 between 14.7 and 23.52 psi (1.0 and 1.6 bar).

the XP-H Computer has both Visual and Audible Alarms, Back Lighting for Low Light or Night Diving Conditions, and Full Watch Functions. No need to carry extra time keepers when you are out on the boat or at an exotic resort. The XP-H Computer with its Full Watch Function Feature gives wake-up alarm, 12 or 24-hour mode, date and time zone shift for traveling divers. When you do get back to the beach you can count on the XP-H to have all the data you want to log. Data can be transmitted via infrared interface (IrDA) with Dive Log Software to a Windows PC (optional). Computer is fully Altitude Adjustable to 13,000' (4,000 meters), has a Wait to Fly Mode, and will display other information such as; Current Depth, Decompression Depth, Desaturation Time, Surface Interval, Temperature, Dive Number, Dive Time, Repetitive Dive Number, No-Stop Indicator, Partial Pressure of Oxygen, Residual Nitrogen Information, Battery Condition, Oxygen Toxicity and much more.

The XP-H can be used in both Imperial (feet) or Metric (meters) Measurements. Computer has a Maximum Depth Display to 395' (120 meters), has a Quartz Clock Function, and is powered by a CR2450 Battery. The Battery is also User Replaceable, so no need to send it to the factory like with other dive computers. The Computer can also be reset for multiple users. This feature is handy when someone else is going to use your computer after you are finished diving for the day. They can clear all the recent calculations so the computer can calculate only their dive information. This is also a great feature when computer is used in a rental gear setting. Computer comes with a 7/16" Threaded High Pressure Hose and a Comprehensive Owner's Manual.

One reason why the Sub Gear XP-H Computer Console is popular is because of its Lots Of Functions.
