Man found unconscious during scuba dive
A MAN is in Cairns Hospital after he was found unconscious in the water during a scuba diving trip this afternoon.

At 1.20pm the Rescue 510 helicopter arrived at Moore Reef, about 40km off Cairns, where a 74-year-old English tourist had to be pulled from the water after experiencing breathing difficulties.

It is understood CPR was performed by the crew.

"We were able to arrive and render first-aid," a Rescue 510 spokesman said.
