British packages BB, FB, HB ... ????

OK, so I'm sitting in the States looking at Red Sea travel packages out of the UK and I have no clue what BB, FB, HB, etc. mean!

Can someone from over there help?

It relates to the style of accomodation/food supplied in the price.

BB=Bed and Breakfast. There will be a breakfast provided, probably continental, probably a buffet style where you can get juice/bagels/croissant/coffee/tea etc.

HB=Half Board. Breakfast and (usually) evening meal provided.

FB=Full Board. 3 meals a day.

You'll sometimes see RO which is room only.

Also you sometimes see AI now. This is all inclusive for drinks and meals (but often alcoholic drinks are limited).
