A couple fellow instructors recently opened a shop in my neighborhood and their rental gear includes some Oceanic BCDs with QLR3 weight pouches. The rubber handles on nearly all of the pouches have cracked and broken off.
It seems that the rubber handle design is similar to the original design of Aqualung's Surelock 2 pouches. AL issued a recall and replaced their rubber handles with ballistic nylon. Is there a similar replacement for Oceanic weight pouch handles?
