Thanks for posting the Divenewswire article , what a life , those guys that built Bonaire were one of a kind , they laid down a tremendous dive culture that is unmatched anywhere else .
It’s impressive to me how many from the USA were involved. Captain Don, Bruce, building Flamingo International and Cargill Salt Works, while most of the tourists are Dutch.
 
I was fortunate to stay at Caribe inn and met and talked with Bruce several times. He was a genius with my Scubapro regs He spent 30 minutes tuning one up for me one afternoon but refused to charge me. I joked that he would go broke with that business model! Over time, I witnessed many examples of outstanding customer service the Bowker way. Rest in Peace Bruce.
