    That's in my dwindling bucket list, next to Malpelo after going back to Socorro in May 2020 and Cocos in September 2020.

    I wish I hadn't read this thread. Back when I was working and doing well some of these were well within reach. Now on a fixed income... Not so much. I'll just take my time in the Caribbean (mostly Cozumel) and be happy.

    Don't hurry over to SE Asia because you won't enjoy other locales as much again. Get your Caribbean dreams out of the way first.

    And sometimes Mother Nature chooses not to deliver to expectations. Imagine my surprise to have one of my dive buddies, recently back from Cocos say that it was disappointing!

    Wreck Lovers:
    Chuuk Lagoon
    Solomon Islands
    PNG (various places)
    SS President Coolidge (Vanuatu)
    Philippines (Coron)
    Scapa Flow (Scotland)
    Bikini Atoll
    Red Sea (SS Thistlegorm)

    Of the above, I have done all but the last two. More to do in PNG and Solomons.

    Reef Lovers:
    PNG (various places)

    Indonesia (Bali, Komodo, Raja Ampat)
    Solomon Islands
    Palau
    Red Sea

    Of the above, I have done all but the Red Sea and Raja Ampat and some places in PNG (like New Britain western end).

    I did Cocos in 2017, Galapagos in 2018, Revillagigedos 2 weeks ago, and will do Malpelo with Sten Johansson next year. For me, there's no best, they're fantastic and complimentary :)
