Alan: I'm planning to purchase the D-180 to go with PT-019 housing. What type of optic cable does one use to fire the strobe? I e-mailed INON and they don't have a listed cable yet for the combination. Ta.....Steve :06:

Great pic. Is that straight out of the camera or did you use software to enhance? Love the close up detail. Have not used mine in supermacro with the internal flash. Been using the Inon D180.

Yes, it is a 67mm port. Verified with Marine Camera out of San Diego. Getting a filter or lense? I was advised not to do that as strobe will provide enuf light that filter not necessary for most shots. Just my two cents but when a guy that sells stuff tells me I don't need it, I believe him. Wide angle, now that is another story. I want one of those but other toys ahead of it on the list.

Olympus website doesnt state that it has a 67 mm port:

does anyone know?
this looks like a great camera/housing combo if so

sweet!!! i think i found my new camera!

personally i would skip the red filter. it tends to mess the colors up in the correction process.
you get much better effects using auto-levels or some manual tweeking in photoshop.
sometimes auto-levels overdoes it.
what i do is run auto-levels then fade the adjustment out. if you dont have photoshop 7 you can copy the layer to a new one, apply auto-levels, adjust the opacity of that layer.
