C-Spring Straps

Hi,

Whats the warranty like on the actual springs in these straps, are they user replaceable? How durable are they supposed to be?

The full info, I have a pair of Bio-Fin XT's that I got with the factory installed spring straps. The fins are great. But over the weekend, I noticed after my last dive that one of the springs is showing a stretch deformation (and the internal string is now poking out), It has been stretched about 5 mm. I suspect this happened when one of the friendly people on the boat decided to pull my fins off for me before I was able to turn around, and do it myself (not trying to blame them, but there were no points of fin contact with the seabed during that dive). While I can still wear the fins, and doubt they will fall off it just seems odd that springs less than 6 months old would stretch like this.

Just to close this one off. Took the fins back to the LDS, they talked to the distributor, who replaced the spring the next day.

So a great result from the local support chain. (if they had deemed I was at fault i would have had no compunction for paying the $ to fix it as well and they knew this)
