The UK PM was correct when he said greed drove the vaccine development.

Has USA exported any of their own produced vaccine to any other countries?
I believe they have shipped some of their AZ stock which is yet to be approved by FDA to Canada and Mexico.

EU must be really stupid to waste tax payer money on unrelated member states! To hell with the moral obligation! Save your own people first!

No, at the belive that a $27 billion pharmaceutical company would be able to do what a $550 million start up was able to do: Full fill contracts. And a firm believe in "pacta sunt servanda" and not interfering with companies that full fill their contracts to the EU.

"Our first priority remains vaccinating the US population," said White House press secretary Jen Psaki. But she said, "ensuring our neighbors can contain the virus is a mission critical step, is mission critical to ending the pandemic."

Mexico & Canada are our neighbors and the border could be “porous”, if you know what I mean.

Which tax payers money is wasted on unrelated member states? Do you have any idea on what would happen if the UK as the largest destination of EU vaccine exports and the EU would go on a pissing contest over the vaccines? I can tell you: A breakdown of vaccination in the UK, the EU and dragging down a couple of other countries.

Ohio has been vaccinating 18+ for some time now. Michigan started 18+ (16+ for Pfizer) on April 1. Hopefully my whole family will be done with this sequence by the end of this month.

Not exactly true, most of our pop is vaccinated by now.

And lo and behold, the economy is opening up again.

Restraunts, pubs, beaches, malls, offices... all open

For Indonesia, it doesn’t seem to make any difference. We would still be the last foreigners allowed to enter the country, unfortunately.
