It does look to be Synodus intermedius though from that picture it is hard to rule out Synodus foetens
Both are common in your area
 
Could be, but then photoshoping could have just taken out all the color from a Blue Striped Lizardfish. We'll never know.
 
Yep....it's a Sand Diver.
I think I may have photographed this same fish myself a time or two.
Don't suppose it was shot near Anglin Pier.
 
Besides the markings, the Sand Diver usually is a bit plumper on the upper body than the other lizards. I think that's a Sand Diver, too.

Sue what photoshop did you use? I have a bunch of pics that came out with this "greenish" look...

The picture was taken in the Mackays Reef....
