Hi,

I have just recieved my new NX compact dome port (56601) and RDX Port base L for my RDX 500D housing.

When I put my Canon EFS 10-22 lens inside, the front of the lens seems to be a long way forward of the dome base.

Do I need an extension ring between the dome port and the port base to get the dome base to align with the front of the lens? If so what size and why is it not included on the current port chart?

Regards.

Hi-
The system charts are correct and for the 10-22mm lens, the Port Base L 30109 and Compact Dome Port 56601 is correct along with zoom gear 31125.

Thank you for your reply, are you able to comment on if a diopter will be of benefit when using this lens & dome?

Hi-
Japan does not recommend a diopter or deem it necessary, however, you can always field-test and check to see if you prefer those results.
