It's been a few years since I have stayed on the island and dived the park.
In the past I would dive off the Scuba Luv at least one day.

What hotels are diver friendly and if I was to want one day off a boat, who would you suggest now that the Scuba Luv is no longer?

If it matters I would be with a small group, maybe 10-14 peeps.

Scuba Luv is a dive shop, not a boat. Their boat was the King Neptune, which was lost this last winter. I beleive thay have or are getting a new boat. Call Scuba Luv, and they can get your diving, hotel and boat booked all in one shot.

Catalina Divers Supply has been cooperating nicely with SCUBA Luv and they run their dive boat. As for SCUBA friendly hotels, Seaport Village is probably the best in that sense. Hermosa as well.
