I just don't log dives
I've recently started scooter free diving again with a passion. This time it is using the added capacity offered by the DPV for deeper, longer breath hold dives. A number of obvious precautions come to mind (don't go deeper or longer than you are able to return from unassisted, DSC issues, etc.) along with some perhaps less obvious considerations. Like anything else like this, there are ways of getting hurt particularly if you are careless or ill prepared.
