Join us for our Thursday, May 19th meeting at Jake’s Sports Bar, 2944 Chimney Rock Rd., Houston, TX 77056. We’ll begin schooling, ordering drinks, food & socializing around 6:30 pm with the meeting officially starting at 7:30 pm.
Our speaker is Charley Oxley. Charley, is a Senior Research Nurse with the Department of Cardiology at the University College of Medicine in Houston and was previously a member of the cardiovascular ICU nursing staff at Memorial Hermann Heart & Vascular Institute – Texas Medical Center (HVI). She first started scuba diving at age 12 and now, she helps disabled individuals discover the joy of scuba.
Charley’s Director of Operations and a volunteer with Dive Pirates Foundation. Dive Pirates supports, trains, equips, and provides dive travel to individuals with disabilities through Classified Scuba Diving.
