Take your gear up to the pool deck, there will be showers up there that will give you more room to work with. It will be much easier to do your rinsing. You can't leave things unattended, but you can hang wetsuits over a railing or the back of your deck chair to dry while you are there. This works out if you do clean ups on sea days and would just be hanging out anyway.

ABSOLUTELY!

That's what we did this last week while on the Carnival Magic. After getting back on the ship, we headed up to the Lido Deck and used the showers to give our gear a really good rinsing and then used a couple of loungers to lay the gear out to dry. The advantage to this is that the bar staff will keep coming by with all those yummy boat drinks.
