After using for many years a NX-90 and NX-5 housing I recently changed to a MDX-800 housing.
I would like to use my (old) NX-ports/ext. rings on the beautifull new housing but I noticed that there is a little clearance when the ports are mounted on the housing.

A noticable 'tick' is heard and felt when moving around the housing. It seems that the mounting is solid and waterproof but is the clearance no problem and perhaps removed by putting a piece of rubber between the rimm and the housing?

The ports I use is the NX Compact Macro Port Base and the Extension Ring 40 together with the Compact Macro Port 111.
All with the 'grey mounting adapter'.

The MDX-800 uses NX ports. They shouldn't rattle. Did you put fresh o-rings on your ports and extension?
