It's cold down here, around 35 degrees Fahrenheit. The enormous water pressure -- three times the atmosphere on land -- bears down on us, filling our veins with nitrogen and creating the feeling of being ever so slightly drunk.
35 degrees F at 20 meters off the Florida coast? Wow, those are Alaska-like temps at 20 meters in December in PWS. Enormous water pressure? Nitrogen narcosis at 66 feet?
With bad journalism like that, it is only a matter of time before the hype destroys what might be a great experiment.
